Re-Thinking Flying

I've seen a video of the massive amount of air traffic over the U.S., but seeing the global amount of air traffic has me amazed. I knew there were a lot of planes taking off daily, but whoa.



Check out just European air traffic.




I just found this very cool site where you can follow either commercial or private flight. Plus view images of air traffic over the U.S. http://flightaware.com/live/. I could check out flights all day. Hey Moms, put that site into you Favorites, so you'll know exactly where your kids flight is the next time they take a flight (saves on worry).

I find this all rather interesting and a little scary. Just think of all those flights going on over your head all day every day. However it does make one realize just how safe air travel really is.
